Help Prevent Sewer Backups in Our Community Wells & Sewer System
The Town of Warrensburg is asking all residents to be mindful of what is being flushed down toilets and drains. Improper items can cause costly backups, damage to pumps and equipment, and disruptions to service.
🚫 DO NOT FLUSH:

“Flushable” wipes (they do NOT break down)

Paper towels or tissues
-
Feminine hygiene products
-
Diapers
-
Cotton balls or swabs
-
Grease, fats, or cooking oils
-
Medications
✅ ONLY FLUSH:
Even products labeled “flushable” can clog pipes and create major issues in the system.
Let’s work together to protect our infrastructure, prevent backups, and keep our water and sewer systems running smoothly.
