Section of Schroon River Road to close for construction Saturday, Sunday
WARRENSBURG, NY -- A portion of Schroon River Road in Warrensburg, from County Home Bridge Road to Warren County Route 11, will be closed Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day for culvert replacement.
The culvert replacement is part of an ongoing improvement project on this section of Schroon River Road, which is also known as Warren County Route 10, that has involved numerous new culverts, improvement of roadside ditches for drainage and will result in resurfacing.
Access for local traffic will be maintained during the weekend closure, but all thru traffic should use a signed detour that will be established on East Schroon River Road. Warren County Department of Public Works thanks drivers in advance for their cooperation.
